Breast Cancer Awarness Month!

 

Hello everyone!!!! And thank you for keeping up with the blog, and events that Take Action has been working on, and doing.  As most know, October is breast cancer awarness month, and Take Action! has been working and planning events to raise awarness and L for a great cause. At the center we have the Y-ME foundation’s site and information as well as the Susan G. Komen foundation.  This month we will have a pumpkin patch all pumpkins that are sold for only 100L all the proceeds to straight to the Susan G. Komen foundation in efforts to help find a cure and bring awarness and support to thoose who need it. Please Join our group- Take Action! or IM me for the land mark and keep posted on the events we will be having this month. Some of the events this month will include  a coffee stand, kissing booth, Raffle from a fashion show, guest speakers and much more. Please keep comming back and checking out our calender of events to keep posted!

Virtual Sudan is over, and we have been planning and building the Virtual Ethiopia! We will talk about major issues that the people of Ethiopia face such as AIDS, lack of education, poverty, malaria and much more! After October and the events from Breast Cancer awarness month are done we plan on building full force, getting the information out there, and bringing you insight on what they face daily.  If you would like to help with our projects, and become a volunteer please IM me in world or e-mail me at eclipseangela@yahoo.com.  Thank you all for your support, ideas and really making and helping Take Action become what it is!  If you have any questions please let me know and again, thank you too all the Take Action Volunteers we have, and I would like to welcome all the Take Action! new members! About Take Action

 Welcome to the blog of Second Life’s Take Action! Take Action is an education and donation center for cancer and financial aid all around the world. In the center we have different charities and campaigns, as well as information and website access. I have been active in charites and fundraising for many years, and many of them have touched my heart.  I wanted to give back, make a stand, and do something meaningful in Sl. I feel that education is the key, and that knowledge will inspire you to Take Action!  We will also be having support groups, educational classes, charity and campaign events, as well as volunteers and guest speakers.

Since opening the center I have gotten a great response as well as ideas on posting events, interviews, information, and status on funds we have raised. All this and more will be included in the blog. There are websites that I have posted and I encourage you to check them all out.  There are so many people who need our help. They are dying as we speak, it is up to all of us to stand up for them and be the voice and strength they do not have.
