About Take Action
Welcome to the blog of Second Life’s Take Action! Take Action is an education and donation center for cancer and financial aid all around the world. In the center we have different charities and campaigns, as well as information and website access. I have been active in charites and fundraising for many years, and many of them have touched my heart. I wanted to give back, make a stand, and do something meaningful in Sl. I feel that education is the key, and that knowledge will inspire you to Take Action! We will also be having support groups, educational classes, charity and campaign events, as well as volunteers and guest speakers.
Since opening the center I have gotten a great response as well as ideas on posting events, interviews, information, and status on funds we have raised. All this and more will be included in the blog. There are websites that I have posted and I encourage you to check them all out. There are so many people who need our help. They are dying as we speak, it is up to all of us to stand up for them and be the voice and strength they do not have. I encourage you to see what you can do in your community to make that stand, a difference and Take Action!
